The Boyfriend Tag

Goodmorning my lovelies, here's a special treat for you all. This tag video has been going around the Youtube community for quite some time now, it's basically the beauty guru, sitting down with her main man and asking him a bunch of questions about their relationship. I love watching these videos because they're so cute and quirky, and they really let you see who the person behind the camera (or in this case, blog) really is. Luckily my boyfriend Jamin, who I've mentioned a few times, was a good enough sport to agree to do this video with me. It's the first time I've ever made any kind of video, so please keep that in mind. We filmed on Jamin's Macbook, so you might want to turn the quality up to 480p, and the volume up a little higher. He's got a tendency to mumble out of frame haha. In case you guys want to do this tag with your husband, boyfriend, best friend, or significant other, the questions are after the cut.

Click Clack: Asian Models

Hello all, Just another quick pop in. I feel like I'll be doing these quite often, so I thought I'd give these kind of casual quick posts a cohesive name, so from now on they'll all be headed Click Clack. Get it? Like the noise uber high heels make when you're walking down a hall? RedHeelsWalking, the noise high heels make? HAHA. I thought it was clever...

ZOMG. A BLOG BUG?!?!?!

Sorry again for the neglect my lovely bloggies, but this post is about something for serials. I tried logging on today, and my computer told me that the website I got my back round from, thecutestblogontheblock.com, has been identified as a Malware distributor. If you don't know what Malware is, google it or just be content with my explanation that it's a super janky computer bug that screws with your computer and is super scary. Obviously I don't want my itty bitty blog screwing over all of your hard drives, so I've removed all content taken from that site, hence why RHW will be sporting various new looks in the coming days. For now, it's rocking au naturale. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope this bug didn't affect any of you. I'll be back tomorrow with a video (!) or two. Until then I suppose,

I was on such a roll

and then I got lazy. Sorry for the lack of posts guys, I really don't have any excuse. I have tons of ideas, just none of them are making it through my keyboard. Suggestions are always welcome though. 

I have 2 more backlogged FOTD's with the lovely Sarah, and I think i'll work on those today. Also in the next few days the huuuuuuuuuuuuge haul of stuff that should be coming in the mail, so expect to see a big pic heavy extra excited Kaelin post about that. Please don't forget about me guys, I promise I'm still trying :/.

So if you're a collector, a makeup maven, or just a female, chances are you have a few eyeshadows. If you're either of the former two, you probably have A LOT of eyeshadows. Ones that are probably taking up space, and muddling up your vanity organization...

Bridal Look: Softly Smokey Neutrals

It was so much fun working with her; not only does she have absolutely fabulous features, but she was also such a good sport and made all the funny faces I asked her to do along the way (If you do makeup on other people, you'll understand how awesome that is). Oh my goodness guys

I have so many things to blog about. On Friday, I hooked up with one of my best gal pals, Sarah, and a nice little mall date quickly turned into a substantial haul of goodies. I'd like to put up a few posts in the following days just based around this weekend, so just expect to see those up soon. **The difference between EOTDs and Tutorials is just instructions. If you guys want any specific tutorials, feel free to comment on any of my posts and I'll give it a go.

Take Me Away

I wish I could disappear into the internet and just never come back. When servers crash theres always hundreds of thousands of backups to take its place. Multimillion dollar companies filled with gizomos and gadgets to keep it safe, smooth, and always running. It's never really "down."

When people crash there is no back up, no means of getting things going again.
 Just a cold hard casing without feeling.

OTD: First Skirt of Spring

It really is heating up here in northern California, almost 80 degrees on the dalies! I snapped up these pictures around late afternoon yesterday before I went out to dinner with the fambam in Larkspur. My mom was heading a meeting up there, so we all took the opportunity to spend a little time together.

I'd imagine they'd look like this. Something a little like love; shy, fluttery, and effortlessly beautiful.

Old habits die hard....

So I suppose late night blogging is just going to be my thing.

I  can dig that.

I felt really good about putting that post up nice and early in the evening today. I thought it might put me on the right track to regular blogging, but I guess the universe just prefers for me to document my thoughts at night. 

I really need photoshop. Like REALLY really ReAlLy need photoshop. I think its the only solution to my flash photography woes. I'm not looking to do anything dramatic. I don't want to give myself a virtual face lift or Angelina Jolie lips, I just want my colors to turn out right :/. I'm not sure how I'm going to save up enough money for it, especially because all my funds are going towards an air brush machine. I MysteryMan would help me out, he's pretty savvy with computers and such, but things aren't riding out so smooth with that plan. 

Oh well. We push on. Expect another post tomorrow (er, today?) lovlies, I think I'm going to go ponder around the Internet aimlessly.

Finally, a post up at a decent hour. I was working through a French study guide (midterm tomorrow, wish me luck!), when I noticed how springy things were outside my window. Lush grasses, cherry blossoms in bloom, and plums ripening on trees. Inspiration just hit :).

How's everyone's Monday been going?
For the last couple of days here at RHW I've been having some restless nights. On Saturday I decided it was time I paid some well deserved attention to my little baby blog, and made some moves to kick it up a bit. If you haven't noticed, RHW has had quite a facelift ;D. This was the product of a 6 hour struggle to get the new layout to fit and about a billion searches around Google to make it work. Homegirl's not the best with computers....

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the changes I've made, and expect some more in the near future. Tomorrow I'll hit you guys up with an OTD, since the weathers been so pleasant lately.
